Relationality & Interdependence: Inviting Universal Truth into Relationship

After ten months of researching, writing, editing, and refining, I feel now that Universal Truth is ready to meet the light of day.

And if writing this book has taught me anything, it’s that knowledge is participatory, and that meaning arises through relationship.

In the model explored through Universal Truth, growth moves through recurring stages of differentiation, limitation, relationship, and reintegration.

For me, differentiation came in the form of upheaval: leaving behind a life and identity I had spent decades building, only to find that a truer and more authentic life I thought I had abandoned was still patiently waiting for me.

But I couldn’t fully accept that second chance until I had worked through the limitations I had placed upon myself. Boundaries, self-doubt, and wider life constraints all tried to pull me back, and at times they almost succeeded. Yet by opening myself to relationship from a place of honesty, rather than the carefully maintained self I had presented for so many years, I began to find the strength to keep moving forward with this creative endeavour.

Personally, I am moving from a state of limitation into the field of relationship.

So too, Universal Truth – a work that explores resonance, coherence, and shared patterns of meaning-making – can no longer be refined in isolation. It now requires an act of relationship between writer and reader, work and world.

And so, the next step for Universal Truth is to move into its own initial field of relationship.
